July / August Classes

Class Materials: Except when noted all class supplies must be purchased from the Yarn Sellar no later than 2 days prior to class. Students receive a 10% discount on all class materials! Please come to class with all supplies required and assigned homework done.

Preregistration: To reserve your space preregistration is required 2 days prior to class. You may register by phone with Visa/MasterCard or in person. 100% payment is due at the time of preregistration. Due to pre-class preparations, no walk-ins will be allowed.

Cancellations: No refunds or store credit on student cancellations or no-shows. Out of courtesy to our instructors, no make-up classes are given.


Introduction to Crochet Sessions – FREE
These sessions are a great way to introduce the beginner to the craft of crochet.
Supplies required: Worsted weight yarn and size I or J hook.

Beginning Knitting
Learn how to knit a scarf in this fun and easy class. You will review the knit stitch and learn to cast on, purl, and bind off.
Requirements: Introduction to Knit Session or equivalent.
Supplies required: Chunky weight yarn and size 13 straight needles.
1 session. Cost $15 includes Yarn Sellar exclusive pattern.

Intermediate Knitting / Baby Hat
Learn to use double point and circular needles while making this Yarn Sellar exclusive baby hat. Also includes reading a pattern. Homework required.
Requirements: Beginning knitting class or equivalent.
Supplies required: 4/11” circulars, sz 3 or 4 double point needles, stitch markers and tapestry needle.
2 sessions. Cost $20 includes yarn and Yarn Sellar exclusive pattern.

Needle Tatting Basics
A make and take project. Learn the basics of this traditional time honored craft. After learning the basics you will be creating a snowflake or flower motif.
No requirements needed.
1 session. Cost $15 includes supplies.

Private Sessions
We offer private lessons at $20 per hour. 1 hour minimum. 48 hour advanced notice needed. Pre-payment required. No refunds/ store credit on cancellations or no-shows.
